What this site is
Muxaril is an independent, unofficial travel-planning guide to Scotland's North Coast 500, with a catalogue of hotels. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by North Coast 500 Ltd, VisitScotland, Highland Council, or any distillery, castle, attraction, hotel or business named on this site. Use of this site does not create any commercial or agency relationship between you and any organisation mentioned here.
The hotel catalogue
The catalogue lists hotels for information only. We do not take reservations or payments, we show no live prices or availability, and we do not guarantee that any hotel has rooms. A reservation is a contract between you and the hotel, on the hotel's terms; we are not a party to it and are not responsible for rates, taxes, fees, cancellation rules or the quality of your stay. Descriptions, facilities, room types, distances, contact details and photos come from third parties, mainly Hotelbeds, and may be incomplete or out of date; star categories and distances are indicative. Being listed does not mean a hotel pays us. Hotel names, brands, logos and photos belong to their owners and are used only to identify the properties described. Confirm anything that matters with the hotel before you rely on it.
Acceptable use
You're welcome to browse this site and use it to plan a trip. You may not scrape the site for republication, misrepresent its content as your own work, or use it in a way that disrupts it for other visitors.
Content ownership and republishing
The text, structure and design of this site are the work of its authors; hotel photos and descriptions belong to their owners. You're welcome to link to any page. Copying substantial passages onto another site without permission isn't permitted — get in touch on the contact page if you'd like to quote or reuse something at length.
Accuracy disclaimer
Distances, drive times, opening hours, prices, road classifications and vehicle restrictions described on this site are believed accurate as of the “last updated” date, but roads get resurfaced or restricted, distilleries change their visiting hours, hotels close and businesses change. Always confirm anything time-sensitive with the relevant operator, hotel, Traffic Scotland or an official source before you rely on it for a trip.

This site links to external sites (official tourism resources, distilleries, attractions, hotels, Google Maps) for further information. We don't control their content, availability or terms, and linking to them isn't an endorsement of everything they contain.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided for general informational purposes. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss, injury or inconvenience arising from reliance on it, including driving or walking based on route descriptions, or a stay arranged with a hotel listed here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
